We may use a different reputable carrier or service where needed for your destination, parcel size, value, availability or delivery disruption.

Order processing and dispatch

In-stock items are usually prepared for dispatch within [1-3 working days] after you receive your order confirmation email.

Orders are processed [Monday to Friday], excluding UK bank holidays. Orders placed after [12:00 noon] UK time, at weekends or on UK bank holidays are treated as received on the next working day.

During launches, pop-ups, collaboration drops, archive/sample sales, gifting periods or busy seasonal periods, dispatch may take longer. If an item is a pre-order, made-to-order, customised or personalised piece, the product page will state the estimated dispatch timing.

Where an order contains both in-stock and pre-order/made-to-order items, we may ship the order together when all items are ready unless we agree otherwise.

Delivery estimates and guarantees

Delivery timings are estimates only unless the checkout expressly describes the service as guaranteed. Estimated timings apply after dispatch, not from the time the order is placed.

Unless we agree to a different delivery period with you, we will deliver goods within [30 days] after we accept your order.

Delivery may be affected by carrier delays, customs checks, weather, strikes, local disruption, incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, peak trading periods or events outside our reasonable control.

UK delivery

UK standard delivery is free for orders over [£100] after discounts and before delivery charges. Gift cards, duties, taxes and delivery charges do not count towards the free-shipping threshold unless we state otherwise.

UK express and next-working-day services may not be available for every postcode or during every launch period. If next-working-day delivery is unavailable for your address, the checkout will show the available alternatives.

International delivery

We usually ship to [the countries and regions shown in the website country/region selector at checkout], which currently includes the United Kingdom and selected international destinations. Available destinations may change.

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees or local handling fees. Unless the checkout clearly states otherwise, these charges are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or delivery charge.

Customs authorities may open or inspect parcels. Customs checks and local carrier processes may delay delivery.

If an international parcel is refused, returned or not collected because duties, taxes, customs charges or local fees are unpaid, any refund may be reduced by return shipping, carrier charges, customs charges and costs we cannot recover.

Tracking

When your order is dispatched, we will send a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details where tracking is available. Tracking can take up to [24 hours] to update after dispatch.

Delivery address

Please check your delivery address carefully before submitting your order. If you notice an error, contact [info@playfulaccessories.com] immediately with your order number. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that we can change an address after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

Missed, refused or returned deliveries

If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect, delivery was refused, duties or taxes were unpaid, or the parcel was not collected from the carrier, we will contact you to arrange next steps. We may need to charge an additional delivery fee to resend the order.

Lost or delayed parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within [7 working days] after the latest estimated UK delivery date, or within [14 working days] after the latest estimated international delivery date, contact [info@playfulaccessories.com] with your order number.

We may ask you to check with household members, neighbours, building reception, your local delivery office or the carrier while we investigate.

Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please keep the packaging and contact [info@playfulaccessories.com]  within [48 hours] with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging and item. This helps us assess the issue with the carrier and arrange the appropriate remedy.

Packaging

Our pieces are tactile, sculptural and sometimes delicate. We design our packaging to protect them in transit. Please keep the packaging until you are happy with your order, as returns should be sent back securely and with reasonable care.

Split shipments

Where practical, we may split an order into more than one parcel. You will not be charged extra delivery because we choose to split a shipment.
