If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a product page or checkout term, the more specific term will apply to that order.
3. Eligibility

4. Products
Our pieces are tactile, sculptural and sometimes handmade, hand-finished or produced in small batches. Minor variations in colour, finish, texture, shape, size, surface detail or placement may occur and are part of the character of the product unless the item is materially different from its description.
Product images are shown as accurately as possible, but colours may vary depending on screen settings, lighting and photography. Measurements, weights and fit notes are approximate unless stated otherwise.
Our products are wearable fashion/accessory objects, not children's toys. Keep small, detachable or sculptural parts away from babies, young children and pets.
5. Materials, allergies and safety claims
Each product page should state the main materials, component materials, size, fit, care instructions and any important skin-contact or hygiene information. You are responsible for checking product details before purchase.
Unless expressly stated on the relevant product page and supported by appropriate supplier, testing or certification information, we do not claim that any product or packaging is:

If you have sensitive skin or a known allergy to silicone, rubber, latex, resin, metals, plating, nickel, adhesives, dyes, coatings or other materials, contact us before ordering.
You must follow the care instructions provided on the product page or Materials & Care page. Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, exposure to heat, water, perfume, oil, cosmetics, chemicals, sharp objects or excessive force may not be treated as a product fault.
6. Prices, taxes and delivery charges
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, taxes and any available delivery options are shown at checkout before you place your order.
For international orders, import duties, taxes, customs charges and local fees may be payable by you unless stated otherwise at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order we have accepted.
7. Orders and contract formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the items in your basket. You will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.
A contract is formed when we accept your order, which may be when we send a dispatch confirmation email or otherwise confirm acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance, including where:
● the item is unavailable;
● the product, price or promotion contains an obvious error;
● payment is not authorised;
● delivery restrictions apply;
● we suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised resale; or
● we cannot fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the unavailable or cancelled item.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods shown at checkout. As standard, we accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and UnionPay.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
9. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions, discount codes and gift offers are subject to their own terms. They may be limited by time, stock, territory, product category, customer or order value. We may withdraw or refuse a promotion where it is used incorrectly, fraudulently or in breach of its terms.

10. Pre-orders, made-to-order and custom pieces
Pre-order, made-to-order, customised, personalised, bespoke or collaboration pieces may have different dispatch timings and return restrictions. The relevant product page should explain these before you order.
Unless faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, personalised, customised, bespoke and made-to-order items usually cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started or the item has been made to your specification.
11. Delivery
Delivery options, costs and timings are set out on our Delivery & Shipping page and at checkout. We will deliver to the address provided at checkout.
Our standard delivery position is UK standard delivery at [£3.95], free over [£75]; UK express delivery at [£5.95]; and UK next-working-day delivery at [£8.95] where available. International delivery starts from [£12.95] for Europe and from [£19.95] for USA, Canada and China, unless checkout states otherwise.
In-stock items usually dispatch within [1-3 working days]. Orders placed after [12:00 noon] UK time, at weekends or on UK bank holidays are treated as received on the next working day.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless the checkout expressly states that the service is guaranteed. Unless a different delivery period is agreed with you, goods will be delivered within [30 days] after the order is accepted.
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive them. Ownership passes when we have received payment in full.
12. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your cancellation, return and refund rights are explained in our Shipping & Returns and Refund Policy pages. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
For most UK online purchases, you have [14 days] from the day after delivery to tell us you want to cancel, and then a further [14 days] to return the item. Some items are excluded unless faulty, including personalised/custom-made items and sealed hygiene-sensitive items once unsealed.
We use a direct email returns process as standard. Email [info@playfulaccessories.com] before sending any return. We do not offer direct exchanges as standard. Customer-paid return postage applies to change-of-mind returns, unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or we made an error.
13. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, contact us as soon as possible at [info@playfulaccessories.com] with your order number and photos where relevant. We will review the issue and provide the remedy required by law.
14. Hygiene-sensitive products
For hygiene and health-protection reasons, pierced earrings, earring posts, hooks, backs, drops, charms or components intended for use in or through a piercing, hair accessories and any other sealed hygiene-sensitive items identified on a product page cannot be returned once the hygiene seal or protective packaging has been opened, or once the item has been tried on, worn or used, unless faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described.
15. Stockists, third-party sellers and pop-ups
Products bought from stockists, marketplaces, event organisers, pop-up partners or independent retailers are sold by that seller, not by us, unless we expressly state otherwise. The seller's own terms, returns process and customer-service route apply.
16. Intellectual property
All product designs, photographs, text, graphics, logos, illustrations, videos, brand names, product names, collection names, layout and website content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit them without written permission.
17. User content, reviews and social media
If you tag us, submit a review, upload content or send us a testimonial, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may ask for permission to use your content in marketing. We will only use it for marketing where we have an appropriate basis to do so.
18. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or breach of your statutory rights.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, business losses where you buy as a consumer, or losses caused by misuse of the product, failure to follow care instructions, events outside our reasonable control or third-party services.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the terms in force when you place that order.
20. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
